London Watch Week - Sipsmith
Sipsmith is an acclaimed London-based craft distillery that spearheaded the modern "gin-aissance". Founded in 2009 by Sam Galsworthy, Fairfax Hall, and Jared Brown, it was the first copper-pot distillery to open in Greater London in nearly 200 years.
Sipsmith is celebrated for reviving the traditional "one-shot" method of distilling gin. Instead of diluting a heavily concentrated spirit, their full botanical recipe is distilled all at once in traditional copper pot stills, resulting in an exceptionally smooth and complex spirit.
